VDL BUS & COACH MIDEURO WITH EXTENSION BEHIND THE REAR AXLE

VDL Bus & Coach has developed a new length variant for the MidEuro. In addition to an extension between the axles, it is now also possible to stretch the MidEuro behind the rear axle. The first MidEuro of this model was delivered to the Jean Schatorjé company, situated in Kevelaer, Germany.

The MidEuro was lengthened behind the rear axle by 315 mm. The total length of the vehicle therefore becomes 7,660 mm. As a result of the additional 315 mm, the MidEuro can be laid out with 22+1 seats, making it particularly suitable for line and school transport.
The MidEuro’s extension behind the rear axle can be carried out on the chassis of either the VW Crafter or of the MB Sprinter.
In the standard model, the luggage area and the luggage flap are not included, although it is possible to add the luggage flap as an option.

The Jean Schatorjé company
The Jean Schatorjé company offers a complete transport package ranging from city and regional transport, school transport, home-to-work transport, through day trips and holiday coach trips, and up to the provision of shuttle transport at airports. Their vehicle fleet consists of 18 buses and coaches, and they employ a total of 34 persons.
The new MidEuro will mainly be used for school transport and line services.
